The FIEC Board is proud to announce the FIEC PhD Thesis Awards.Two awards, each worth €1000, will be awarded triennially. Winners will be announced at the triennial FIEC Congress and will present their work there. The winners’ Congress registration fee, as well as their travel and accommodation costs, will be paid for by FIEC.
Each member society of FIEC may nominate one thesis in each of the following categories:
Greek and Latin languages, literature, and philosophy, including their reception.
Greek and Roman history and archaeology, including their reception.
Eligibility criteria, submission requirements, and the instructions for making submissions can be found at https://www.fiecnet.org/awards. Nominations for the 2028 prize must be made by June 1, 2027.
