We would like to let you know that a joint conference in the area of Ancient and Medieval Studies will be held in Londrina, Brazil, 29-31 August 2018

For more information, please read the following announcement issued by the organizing committee:

"Dear researchers of Ancient Times and Middle Ages,

We are organizing the XII Cycle of Ancient and Medieval Studies, VII International Conference of Ancient and Medieval Studies / XVII Seminar of Ancient and Medieval Studies, events already consolidated with researchers of Antiquity and Medieval. The joint efforts of the Department of History and the Postgraduate Program in Social History of Londrina, the Fundamentals of Education Department and the History of Education Program of Maringá, and the Research Group (GETSEAM - Social Transformations and Education Group in Antiquity and Medievality) have made it possible to hold these meetings for more than two decades. This brings us great satisfaction!
This year, the events will be hosted in Londrina, at the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, between August 29 and 31.
On this occasion, we will also be pleased to present the first edition of the Francis and Franciscanism International Encounter. This event presents, at first, together with the Cycle and the Journey, meeting a Medieval area researchers demand, but also of those who have been reflecting on this thematic and the historical, artistic, and social unfoldings, among others, in the surroundings of the figure of Francis of Assisi and of the Franciscan movement in other temporalities and geographical spaces.
We invite all of you to follow the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/antigaemedievalfrancisco/ and visit https://antigaemedieval.wixsite.com/francisco to receive all the information regarding the activities.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to share your research and fellowship with us, and we ask for your assistance in publicizing our programming.
See you soon!"
