COLLEGIUM OF ROMAN LAW IN PAVIA, ITALY

This week we would like to let you know that CEDANT, the Center for Studies and Research on Ancient Law, is going to hold its thirteenth Collegium of Roman Law in Pavia from the 11th to the 29 of January 2016., The following theme has been proposed: “The Institutes of Gaius: adventures of a bestseller. Transmission, use and transformation of the text”.
The Collegium is an intensive course of study which brings together international professors and young scholars in a series of seminars.  One of its aims is the publication of its findings after a second phase of work in September 2016. Please follow this link to see all the relevant information.

FIEC BLOG ENPANDS ITS SCOPE

We are pleased to inform you that the FIEC-blog will from now on will information distributed by AIEP, l’Association Internationale d’Études Patristiques (the International Association of Patristic Studies). This new connection has been established since it is the wish of both organizations to foster academic discourse between related disciplines. In this regard, we would like to thank AIEP for its support in order to create an online platform spreading all internationally relevant news pertaining to the study of antiquity. LECTURESHIP IN PATRISTICS, CAMBRIDGE

The Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, intends to make a new appointment to a University Lectureship in Patristics, and invites applications from candidates with a research specialization in any field of Patristic thought and culture up to the end of the first millennium.
